The Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our lean and ambitious team. This is a hybrid role where you can work from home and at our office in downtown Montreal. Reporting directly to the co COOs and in-house accounting, you’ll be responsible for managing monthly royalty accounting, working hands-on in QuickBooks, and supporting financial operations across payroll, invoicing, and reconciliations. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role with massive upside for learning and career growth. Responsibilities
Prepare and track monthly royalty statements and payouts
Maintain and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks
Process invoices, payments, and employee/contractor payroll (via Deel and Dayforce)
Assist with monthly and year-end closing procedures
Collaborate with the finance lead on reporting, audits, and budgeting
Support ad hoc financial projects in a startup environment
Requirements
University degree in accounting, finance or related field.
Proficiency in Quickbooks, Excel / Sheets.
2 years experience in accounting or bookkeeping (internships count).
Familiarity with Deel, Dayforce and royalty systems a plus.
Strong attention to detail, highly organized and eager to learn.
Self starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
Languages: Bilingual. Fluency in English, enabling effective communication with international stake holders.

Nous recherchons un(e) comptable junior motivé(e) pour rejoindre notre équipe ambitieuse et agile. Il s’agit d’un poste hybride vous permettant de travailler depuis chez vous ainsi que dans nos bureaux au centre-ville de Montréal. Relevant directement des co-directeurs généraux (COO) et de la comptabilité interne, vous serez responsable de la gestion mensuelle des redevances, du travail pratique dans QuickBooks, et du soutien aux opérations financières telles que la paie, la facturation et les rapprochements. C’est un rôle concret et formateur, avec de grandes perspectives d’apprentissage et d’évolution de carrière.
