Junior Accountant (Female)
Job Location: Shivaji Nagar, Pune, India.
Job Summary:
Selfdrive is looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.
• The ideal candidate needs to be well-versed in accounting standards & principles, and able to work comfortably with numbers. Must have Professional-level skills in creating & managing Excel & should have high attention to details. At least have 1-3 years of Experience.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for validating invoices issued to customers
• Scrutinize supplier invoices, keep record of the same and responsible for processing payments
• Responsible for interacting with suppliers, providing payment updates and act as single point of contact for resolving any queries
• Record entries related to customer collections & supplier payments as per company’s policy
• Reconciling supplier Statement of Accounts as per agreed Turn Around Time
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports
• Assist in preparing management reports required for finance department and internal reporting
• Assist in bank account reconciliation
• Responsible for any other day-to-day accounting tasks as assigned
• Undertake any other specific duties assigned by the management.
Key Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or equivalent
• 1-3 years Relevant experience as an Accountant
• Experience in accounts receivable & accounts payable management
• Excellent knowledge in Accounting Software such as Tally, Zoho Books & working knowledge of Microsoft Office Dynamic, charismatic and enthusiastic personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English
• Professional level skills in creating & managing Excel
• Previous employment in a similar position handling accounting function
• Experience in E-commerce Platform & Rate-sheet Management is added advantage
