Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Pune. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks including bookkeeping, maintaining financial records, and processing invoices. The role involves assisting with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and conducting regular audits. The Junior Accountant will also support month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliation of accounts, and preparation of financial reports.
The Junior Accountant will also assist in other departments in various activities. He will also act as a runner for any work involving travel within the city.
Qualifications
- Bookkeeping, Invoicing, and Reconciliation skills
- Experience in financial record maintenance and management
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Tally
- Understanding of budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in real estate or construction industry is a plus
