As we continue to expand, we're seeking a talented Junior Executive Accountant with expertise in TDS, GST, Tally, and other accounting principles to join our team.
Position Overview: The Junior Executive Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, with a focus on tax compliance, GST, and TDS. This role will involve maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax returns, and supporting senior accounting staff in various financial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of TDS returns, including TDS deduction, payment, and reconciliation. Prepare and file GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
• Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using accounting software such as Tally. Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Generate various financial reports and analysis as required by management. Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing. Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on outstanding payments. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
• Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with audit requirements and facilitate audit inquiries as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably with exposure to TDS, GST, and Tally.
• Good understanding of Indian taxation laws, including TDS provisions and GST regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Tally for financial recordkeeping and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Compensation: Rs 25000 - Rs 30000 per month
