Job Description: Junior Accountant
Position: Junior Accountant
Location: Parel East, Mumbai
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: Minimum 1+ years in accounting and finance
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting and Taxation
• Pass necessary entries in Tally for all kinds of business transaction
• Assist in prepare workings for GST returns (GSTR 1, 3B, annual return) and TDS returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparation of PT returns
• Conduct periodic reconciliation of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Billing Management:
• Independently manage end-to-end billing processes
• Utilize Tally or similar billing software for accurate and efficient invoicing.
Payment Collection:
• Regularly coordinate with debtors for timely payment collection.
• Ensure receivables are tracked and follow-up actions are effectively managed.
• Record payment entries in the tally software for client payments
Vendor and Salary Payments:
• Execute payments for vendor invoices and operational expenses.
• Assist in processing monthly salary, ensuring accuracy in calculations and timely disbursement.
General Accounting Tasks:
• Manage petty cash and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions for audit purposes.
• Ensure that all the bills are properly filed and maintained
• Provide reports as per the templatized parameters set on need basis.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related
Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other financial regulations in India.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
Role details:
Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. (12000 – 22000)
Monday to Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM
Preferred location – Parel East or nearby areas
