As a Legal Engineer you need to be a technologically adept individual who sees the opportunity to improve legal processes with the intelligent use of technology. You will need to collaborate with the clients to understand their requirements along with the implementation and technology team to translate the client requirements into AI solutions.

Job Description

Designation: Legal Engineer

Experience (years): 3-5 years

No: of vacancies: 3

Location: Hybrid (India based). The initial training will be from the Mumbai office.

Workdays: Monday to Friday

Immediate Joining is preferred

Responsibilities
• Implement legal engineering solutions and contract automation for customers. Build and refine prompts to generate optimal outputs using client tools. Support machine learning and AI initiatives in relation to current and future developments.
• Understand the customers’ requirements in relation to Ai output and execute the same using client tool.
• Understanding the customer’s “gap” from current process to the future process and come up with creative ways to resolve them.
• Be agile and responsive to the customer’s needs and requirements.
• Assisting in all matters relating to legal engineering and legal design.
• Working closely with the customers to ensure that the Ai software is functioning correctly and meeting their requirements.
• Engage in testing AI models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), and building proprietary datasets.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience
• · Law graduate (LL.B/LL.M) with 3–5 years of experience in corporate legal work.
• · Strong background in contract drafting, abstraction, review, and negotiation; experience in tech or IT sectors is preferred.
• · Proficient in handling a variety of legal document types.

Technical Aptitude
• · Keen interest in legal technology with hands-on experience using AI tools like ChatGPT or similar.
• · Familiarity with prompt engineering or AI-assisted legal workflows is a strong plus.

Soft Skills
• · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
• · Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
• · Collaborative mindset and a willingness to adapt and learn in a tech-driven legal ecosystem.
