What are we looking for?
What we want is to hire someone who is analytical, self-starting, and self-motivated for high performance, has the ability to handle multiple stakeholders in various countries, and can prepare different reports for holistic representation of the business, maintaining data confidentiality with a strong sense of professional integrity. He/She should have the ability to think through various perspectives for different business units and understand the nuances of tracking their performance through various
parameters.
To take it further, in an ideal world, we are not just looking for someone with finance & accounting exposure, effective communication and analytical skills but also keen observation on internal controls and improvements.
Major Roles & Responsibilities
1. Develop financial plans and oversee financial budgeting and forecasting for the businesses.
2. Modify financial plan and budget amount based on the changes in business plans.
3. Assist in the preparation of capital budgets for the business units.
4. Identify key metrics, keep track of financial KPls and develop financial models along with sharp front-end visualization of the analysis to support strategic initiatives. Be the central owner of organization-wide operating and financial data and KPls
5. Develop a profit and loss plan to ensure maximized returns and profit targets
along with ensuring financial integrity.
6. Analyse key performance indicators in all areas of the business including
revenue, operating costs, fixed expenses and capital expenditure - time series as well as against budgets and forecasts.
7. Provide financial support and advice to management in closing business deals.
8. Act as a key decision maker for financial related commitments in business projects.
9. Enhance the financial processes for profitability and revenue growth.
10. Coordinate with operations, sales, marketing, and customer service teams to supervise and support in business operations effectively.
11. Inspect and approve all vendor contracts and account expenses of the company.
12. Allocation of costs to divisions to ensure holistic performance evaluation. Own the methodology and process, align with key stakeholders and operationally handle it on a monthly basis.
13. Support proce ss improvement initiatives to achieve financial goals.
Education & Experience
Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. But there is no way to locate you otherwise.
So we might look for at least a Master's Degree.
1. 4 to 7 years of Experience in Business Finance
2. Strong analytical rigor and problem-solving skills
3.. Strong communication & Interpersonal skills
4. Proficient in MS Office & Google Workspace.
5. Proactive takes initiative, self-motivated, team player
6. Strong collaboration, stakholder management and interpersonal skills
7. Willingness to hustle
