Role : Lease Accounting Specialist
Mandatory Skills: Lease Accounting, US GAAP – ASC 842
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review lease accounting entries, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze complex lease agreements to determine lease terms, renewal options, and potential risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in lease data and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Develop process improvements to streamline lease accounting processes within the organization.
Job Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in lease accounting or a related field (US GAAP).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles, particularly those related to leases.
• Proficiency in preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules using tools like Excel.
• Experience with commercial real estate transactions or property management companies.
• Shift: US shift
