The Role
As a central role within the firm, this position will oversee daily operations of a rapid growth organisation. This is an opportunity to be part of an organisation from the beginning and shape the team and organisation from the ground up. This position will report to the Directors and as a senior member of the team, will have the autonomy to grow and lead the team.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the day-to-day operations maintaining efficient workflows
Leading all HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, creating, managing and monitoring staff KPIs, and performance management
Support financial administration including billing, reporting, supplier relationships, and compliance obligations
Partnering with leadership on firm-wide projects, systems upgrades, process improvements and cultural initiatives
Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency
Maintaining the office, office supplies and managing external vendors
Upholding compliance standards, document control, and firm policies
Collaborate with the legal team to identify and implement strategies for improved workflow management and client care opportunities
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a practice or office management role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
Exposure to professional services or legal environments (essential)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High-level organisational and leadership capabilities
Familiarity with practice management systems (e.g. LEAP, ActionStep or similar)
A proactive, solution-focused attitude and strong attention to detail
