About the Role:
Provide high level customer service in the Library to Students, Staff, and other Customers while supporting the smooth day to day operation of the Library services and systems.
We are looking for a proactive and service-oriented Library Technology and Resources Officer who is passionate about supporting students and ensuring a welcoming, resource rich environment. This front facing role involves delivering efficient Library operations, manage resources, and providing software, hardware and Wi-Fi assistance. You will Maintain an organised Library space through shelving, book displays, and general upkeep and assist with purchasing, cataloguing, and processing of Library resources (hardcopy and online), ensuring accuracy and timely availability.

Employment Opportunity:
Part time 0.6 (22.8 hours per week) Contract until August 2026
Monday and Friday required
Wednesday is preferable but can be negotiated
Work across the Geelong City and East Geelong Campuses
Salary:
$68,392 p.a. (pro-rata) plus Superannuation
Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.
About You:
Knowledge of library methods, materials, and cataloguing practices is preferable
High level Customer service skills
A passion for supporting students and contributing to their success
Tech savvy, and the ability to quickly learn new systems
