Madson Wines – Sales, Hospitality & Events Manager
Madson Wines is a small, growing winery focused on producing wines from organically farmed vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains. We’re looking to add a dynamic, self-motivated team member to help manage day-to-day operations across sales, events, wine club, and hospitality.
This is a multi-faceted role best suited for someone who thrives in a small-team environment, is comfortable wearing many hats, and brings genuine excitement for wine, thoughtful hospitality, and community-building.

Is comfortable managing multiple projects with care and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
Tasting Room & Hospitality
Manage tasting room operations and lead wine tasting experiences
Share the story behind our wines, vineyards, and winemaking practices
Convert tastings into sales, club memberships, and lasting relationships
Handle POS transactions and guest communications
Wine Club Management
Oversee member experience and communication
Manage club shipments and logistics
Maintain accurate member records and preferences
Plan and execute club-exclusive events
Sales & Admin
Manage orders through our POS (Commerce7) and QuickBooks
Track customer orders, shipments, and inventory
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve service issues
Maintain CRM and email systems (Mailchimp)
Marketing & Events
Plan and host in-house events, pop-ups, and release parties
Represent Madson at industry tastings and events
Help create marketing emails, printed materials, and basic social media content
Keep the team calendar organized and up to date
Requirements & Experience
2+ years in wine hospitality, customer service, or sales
Knowledge of wine and winemaking processes
Experience with winery software (especially Commerce7) is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Available to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends
Valid driver’s license and legal age to serve alcohol
Physical Requirements
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Able to stand for long periods and move cases of wine
Comfortable setting up and breaking down events

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
