We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our team as an experienced Manager, Accounts to undertake all aspects of GL Accounting and financial management including corporate accounting (IGAAP & USGAAP), compliance with GST, TDS Statutory/Regulatory provisions, audits, financial reporting, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Managing all accounting operations including Billing, AR, AP, GL
• Cost Center-wise/Profit Center-wise accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Planning month closing activities as per the specified timelines, preparing and publishing monthly financial statements
• Coordinating the preparation of regulatory/statutory reporting
• Independently handling support of month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Managing and complying with local, state, and central government reporting requirements and TDS/Levy filings
• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Handling IGAAP and USGAAP audits
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
• Chartered Accountant
• 6-7 years of post qualification work experience years with IT Industry preferably a software product or services company
• Thorough knowledge of Accounting Principles and Procedures
• Thorough knowledge of Revenue Recognition principles and procedures in case of software sales, implementation projects (fixed price as well as time and material projects)
• Experience creating financial statements (IGAAP & USGAAP)
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Excellent accounting software user (SAP/MS D365) and administration skills
• People management skills
• Ability to contribute to the formulation of future direction and support tactical initiatives
