Job Description
Manage Corporate Accounting, Statutory Compliance, Management Reporting.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage all the financial accounting and reporting as per Companies Act and Group Reporting as per IFRS, financial control, cash flow management, banking
Plan and manage month-end management reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting and respond to queries from group accounts.
Ensure Indirect Tax Compliance viz. Goods and Service Tax payment, Returns filing, ITC Refund claims and handling Audit, Assessments independently.
Handle Income Tax matters - Income Tax, Withholding tax, Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Returns and managing assessments in timely manner.
Liaise with external Auditors for Statutory and Group Reporting Audit, Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit, Department Audit etc.
Ensure compliance of Company Law, Profession Tax, Provident Fund, Employees State Insurance, Legal Entity Identifier, Import Export Code.
Review the accounting process and implement accounting procedures; set internal control guidelines as per Group policies.
Assist in financial analysis, group’s business transformation project, perform ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
Education: Chartered Accountant
Experience:
5+ years in Corporate Accounting of MNC preferably Ship Management company
Have a sound knowledge of Accounting, Finalization of Accounts , GST and Income tax matters including Transfer Pricing,
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. Ability to execute strategy.
Self-motivated and proactive.
