Full job description
You will be responsible for providing expert governance and advice in accordance with legislative and policy frameworks to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services and to drive and implement process and system improvement opportunities. Reporting directly to the Director, Revenue, Banking and Payments, this role offers exceptional career growth, training, and development opportunities.
What you'll do
Lead and co-ordinate the strategic direction of the Banking and Payment Services function, identifying related changes in legislation, analysing team performance against key performance indicators and developing policies, procedures and associated business rules.
Foster and encourage a workplace environment that is outcomes focused and instil a culture of continuous improvement through effective communication, training and contemporary workforce management practices.
Build a framework to ensure that business processes are continuously reviewed in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines, identifying and implementing efficiencies, and supporting optimal delivery of services and the achievement of organisational goals.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performance team which supports the delivery of efficient and effective health services.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal competence, including the capacity to negotiate, resolve conflict and positively influence and motivate others, and drive innovation.
Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to interpret and apply the requirements of relevant legislation, policies, determinations, and cases as well as financial management and accounting practices in the public and private sectors.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing finance teams delivering banking and payment services.
Demonstrated experience in delivering and managing improvement strategies, and representing finance interests in key projects, committees and user groups.
