Position Overview: As the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health and operations of our organization. You will be responsible for leading a team of finance professionals, managing financial reporting and analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise in media finance and invoicing to optimize financial processes and support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and drive operational efficiency.
Utilize your expertise in media finance to optimize revenue recognition, cost allocation, and pricing strategies.
Oversee invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of billing.
Monitor and analyse financial performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in finance and media.
Qualification
MBA in Finance or related field preferred
Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, with a focus on media finance
Proven track record of team leadership and management
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
