As a Manager in our Global Business Tax Team, you will be responsible for:
• Managing tax advisory engagements with minimal supervision
• Delivering tax opinions and responding to day-to-day clients' tax matters
• Ensuring tax compliance through filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, and advance tax
• Representing clients before tax authorities for assessment, rectification, and other matters
• Training junior staff members and developing their professional skills
• Collaborating with other tax services lines and business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical expertise in direct taxation
• Analyze complex tax issues and develop innovative solutions
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Communicate tax concepts and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
Requirements
• CA qualification with 5-7 years of experience in direct taxation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example
• Proficiency in tax software and technology
Location and Work Arrangements
This role is based in Pune and involves frequent travel to client locations.
