Responsibilities
1. Closure of books of accounts
• Preparation of Monthly, quarterly, and Annual Financials
• Updation of FA register
• Ledger scrutiny
• Preparation of creditor's and debtors' aging
• Ensuring proper documentation
• Ensure Accounting standards are followed
2. MIS
• Preparation of MIS
• Maintaining budgets
• Circulating Budget vs. actual report with variances analysis
3. Board Meeting / AGM
• Preparation of board meeting presentations in liaison with the CFO and other colleagues on a quarterly basis
4. Audit – Statutory & Internal
• Supporting the Statutory and Internal Audit
• Follow the recommendation of the Internal Audit
5. Miscellaneous
• Liasioning with banks and vendors for any payment-related issues
• Providing data for service tax, vat, and other audits
Expectations
• 2+ years of experience post qualification
• Capable of working effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Highly organized individual with excellent attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of tools to process and reconcile data, such as MS Excel.
• Good analytical skills to be able to identify issues and focus attention on improvement areas
