We are looking for an Assistant Manager & Manger (Statutory Audit), who will manage and deliver audit engagements from planning through to completion. The role will require proficiency in relevant accounting standards and auditing standards, as well as extensive audit experience.
The role holder is expected to manage a portfolio of clients, having responsibility for agreeing audit timetables, briefing the audit team, including other specialists, monitoring budgets and supervising the audit process in line with firms’ methodology.
A. Responsibilities:
Coordinating and developing audit plan for allocated engagements.
Overseeing in-charge and audit assistants' work and ensuring the adequate audit procedures are being performed as per statutory audit methodology.
Guide the team in all phases of an audit as needed.
Supervising and conducting independent audits.
Responsible for contact with management regarding audit scope, status, and findings
Preparing audit reports and other reports for Seniors/Partner and for senior client management and audit committees.
Updating Seniors or Partner on progress of audit and any difficulties or issues in terms of conduct of audit
Ensuring the effective and timely delivery of engagements.
B. Requirements:
Chartered Accountant by Profession.
Minimum post qualification experience should be 3+ years.
Extensive experience in auditing of listed and unlisted companies. Audit of NBCF and Insurance Company will be added advantage.
The Assistant manager is expected to act as a leadership role, should have leadership experience of managing minimum 3 to 8 people team size.
Good knowledge of Accounting Standards/ Ind AS standard, Auditing standards.
Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
Computer skills with MS Office application, tally, ERP package such as SAP etc.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Strong time management

Working days: 5 days Monday to Friday

Experience : Post qualification should be 3 to 10 Years
Should be must Agree on : Late Sittings on due dates and Travelling within Mumbai & Outstation when requited as par client meetings.
Interview mode: after CV Shortlisting,1 Round with HR is telephonic & 2round is with CA partners F2F/online
