Designation: Manager / Senior Manager (M&A Tax)
Location: Mumbai
Job Description:
- Conducting tax due diligence to identify potential tax issues associated with the transaction, including tax liabilities and exposures.
- Advising clients on the tax implications of the transaction, including the tax consequences of different deal structures and financing options.
- Developing tax-efficient structures and strategies to optimize the client's tax position.
- Providing guidance on the tax implications of post-transaction integration, including the integration of tax functions and processes.
- Assisting clients with tax compliance and reporting requirements associated with the transaction.
- Communicating with clients, legal counsel, and other advisors to provide regular updates and insights on tax-related matters.
- Collaborating with other members of the M&A team, including financial, legal, and accounting professionals, to ensure comprehensive due diligence and accurate tax advice.
- Staying current with changes in tax laws and regulations and assessing their impact on the client's tax position
Skills and Experience:
- CA/MBA Finance with minimum 4 years of experience in handling M&A - Tax or Corporate Taxation.
- Effective communication (written as well as verbal) and presentation skills.
- Proven skills demonstrating judgement, problem-solving and decision making.
- Commercial acumen
