Responsibilities
In this highly visible national role, reporting to the COO, you’ll be responsible for positioning the firm as a leader in advisory services for small to mid-size businesses
The Advisory service line comprises a portfolio with varying business models and metrics in the Business Optimization, Transaction & Value Creation, and Finance & Accounting Outsourcing space
You’ll be responsible for the growth and operations of the Advisory service line, which is committed to delivering exceptional advisory services tailored to the specific needs of our clients in the middle market
You’ll work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, such as clients, partners, vendors, and corporate functions (Finance, People & Culture, and Growth team) to achieve the vision, strategy, and goals for the $280m+ Advisory practice
To be considered for this role, you’ll need a strong background in consulting or advisory services ideally with small to mid-size middle market ($250m revenue or less) commercial clients, with proven operations/P&L responsibility, and prior leadership of an office, practice, industry group, market, or similar
This role may be based out of any of our offices, or fully remotely within the United States
Limited travel should be expected

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in consulting or advisory services including at least 5 years’ experience in a leadership or management role required.
• Demonstrated operations/P&L responsibility of a $200-$300m advisory practice and ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proven experience in managing at least 250-person business unit.
• Demonstrated experience in driving growth and building an office, practice, market, industry group, service line, or similar.
• Ability to drive success through the influencing of Partners and staff.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written/presentation), with the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences at different levels.
• High emotional intelligence (EQ), with the ability to build trustful relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude (self-starter/initiative-taker), with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
