Additional responsibilities include writing and editing event-related content, including invitations, registration instructions, , topic descriptions, post-event feedback requests and additional promotional copy as requested. . This role is integral to supporting speakers and the finalization presentation material used for events, as such candidates should have experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications with a high-level of proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
The ideal candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and have a passion for learning and staying abreast of best practices, trends and tools
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or a related field
5+ years of relevant B2B marketing, communications and/or event marketing
Experience in managing both in-person and virtual events
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent writing skills with the ability to create original content and edit the work of others
Skilled in editing PowerPoint presentations and updating slide decks to support speaker content and enhance event presentations
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
Familiarity with event management software and tools
Experience in developing and executing email marketing campaigns
Self-reliant with strong overall business acumen
Self-motivated with a high energy level
