Job description, work day and responsibilities
The Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in supporting chemical plant trials, pilot testing, and process evaluations at customer sites and company facilities. Your responsibilities will include planning, executing, and monitoring chemical plant trials and pilot studies, providing technical support and product knowledge to customers, collaborating with R&D, production, and quality teams, troubleshooting mechanical and process-related challenges, preparing detailed trial reports, and working with cross-functional teams for process optimization and technology transfer. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards during trial operations and represent the company in international forums, customer sites, and partner facilities with professionalism.
To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, along with 2-6 years of relevant experience in chemical/engineering industries (exposure to chemical trials preferred). You should possess a strong understanding of process equipment, plant operations, and mechanical systems, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability and willingness to travel extensively (national & international). Good communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions are also essential for this position.
This is a full-time position that requires in-person work at various locations.,
