Full job description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring the highest quality of patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures and administrative tasks, making it essential for candidates to have relevant experience in various medical settings.

Years of Experience: 2 year(s)

Charting System: Required, Epic

Certifications: BLS, COT*

Experience
Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:

Internal medicine practices
Medical-surgical environments
X-ray procedures
Vital signs monitoring
Emergency medicine protocols
Familiarity with clinic operations
Basic life support certification
Local Candidates Only, within a 50 minute commute

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)

***8-Week Contract***

Required:
BLS from AHA or ARC
Ophthalmic Assistant Certificate
Experience with vision insurance and benefit plans
6+ months of experience working in a vision center setting
Preferred:
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)
VF, IOL, OCT, and Optos experience
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
