Job Title: MIS Manager
Experience: 8 to 12+ Years
Department: Finance & Accounts
Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai
Industry: EPC Building Construction
Reporting To: Head Finance / CFO
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the MIS function for the Finance & Accounts team within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) Building Construction sector.
Develop and maintain structured MIS reports on project costs, budgets, cash flows, and profitability.
Track and report financial performance across multiple construction sites and project locations.
Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Work extensively with Tally Prime to extract and analyze financial data.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across systems and reports.
Automate and standardize reporting formats using advanced Excel functions and Power BI.
Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and site teams to gather relevant data.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
Assist in audits by providing timely and accurate MIS data.
Recommend process improvements in reporting and information flow.
Key Requirements:
Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
10 to 15+ years of MIS experience, specifically in Finance & Accounts.
Strong knowledge of Tally Prime – data extraction, report generation, and financial configuration.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, formulas, macros).
Experience with project-based financial reporting in EPC or construction industry.
Knowledge of cost center accounting, WIP (Work in Progress), and site-level budgeting.
Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
Preferred:
Prior experience in an EPC or infrastructure company.
Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and project audits.
Ability to handle multi-site reporting and support strategic decision-making.
