As a Motor Claims Consultant, youll support customers, brokers and stakeholders by managing inbound calls and correspondence throughout the motor claims process, providing clear guidance and resolving enquiries efficiently.
Youll begin with a comprehensive, fully paid induction and spend your first three months working in-office, benefiting from hands-on support, structured learning and strong team connection to build confidence and capability. Following the training period, you may be considered for a hybrid arrangement, with one day per week in the office, subject to business requirements.
Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 5:00pm. This is a permanent full-time role based in Naarm (Melbourne), Meanjin (Brisbane) or Boorloo (Perth) commencing 18 May 2026.
What You'll Do
Liaise with customers, brokers, assessors and authorised representatives to progress motor claims
Handle a high volume of inbound calls and written correspondence with empathy and professionalism
Provide clear guidance on policy coverage, claims processes and next steps
Accurately assess information, make sound decisions and resolve issues in line with guidelines
Maintain detailed, accurate claim records while meeting service and quality targets
What You'll Bring
Strong customer service experience with the ability to handle sensitive and complex conversations
Empathy, resilience and clear communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution capability
Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively and work under pressure
Good computer literacy with the ability to navigate multiple systems accurately
