Job Description
We are looking for a Murex Consultant with strong accounting exposure to support a leading banking client in the UAE. The role involves engaging with business users to gather and document accounting requirements for various financial products, analyzing feasibility within the Murex platform, and configuring accounting rules including accounts, filters, and formulas. The consultant will also perform testing, reconcile expected vs. actual results, identify discrepancies, and support ongoing changes and project initiatives within the accounting stream.
Job Location: India (Bengaluru , Mumbai, Pune)/Abu Dhabi , UAE Experience: Relevant Murex Accounting experience mandatory for this role.
Skills (Must have)
5-6 years of relevant Murex accounting experience.
Understand the concept of journal posting and balances for accounting.
Knowledge of trade life cycle & events and how they are handled in Murex for FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, Equities, FXD, IRD products
Finance functional knowledge: at least one asset class knowledge is mandatory. Should encompass of the following asset classes: Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX Cash, FX Derivatives, Commodities, Structured Derivatives.
Experience in setting up accounting rules, accounts, filters and formulas.
Familiar with accounting configuration setup and EOD.
Experience in accounting configuration in Murex
Murex configuration experience and configured accounting rule in Murex.
