Responsibilities include:
Financial Objectives
Achieve net sales and margin contribution target
Management of trade spend (including case deal, co-op and other rebates) within account guidelines
Achieve category share targets aligned to sales in & sales out metrics
Implement effective trading term management process across key accounts portfolio and review quarterly for outliers
Conduct quarterly financial review by account portfolio within agreed guidelines and propose commercial improvements.
Work in partnership with Head of Sales and Marketing to ensure banner objectives are aligned to in field execution aims, measure and track performance.
Customer Focus
Develop strong retailer relationships that help achieve business objectives
Know the needs, operations, systems, structure, priorities and strategies of NZ key accounts
Has full knowledge of supply chain processes, issues and key performance indicators for key customers
Monitor results from customer surveys and take appropriate corrective action.
Promotional Effectiveness & Performance Analysis:
Track and report on category and activation performance metrics.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to optimise future strategies.
Develop and implement agreed promotional plans to ensure all sales metrics are met and reported monthly.
Ensure promotional program is aligned to meet strategic account and channel objectives
Evaluate promotional results for the account, interpret outputs and recommend corrective action.
Measure price elasticity of promoted products to maximise return on trade spend investment.
Mange compliance to trading terms and promotions
Effective and efficient management of total trade spend in with budget.
Understand consumer and competitor trends for accounts and ensure opportunities are managed back to the business
Forecasting accuracy targets met
Demonstrate leadership and promote the values, image and role of Blackmores to all team members
Establish clear lines of responsibility and controls and set clear expectations
Foster efficient teamwork and cohesive team dynamics and supportive culture

Previous National Account Management experience in FMCG, Pharmacy or Health Wellness Industry
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
