Join Our Team of Compassionate Midwives
NHS Lothian & NHS Borders Staff Bank – Band 6 Registered Midwives

Are you a dedicated and experienced Registered Midwife looking for flexible work that fits around your life? Do you want to make a real difference in maternity care across NHS Lothian and NHS Borders?

We’re currently expanding our Supplementary Staffing Bank and are on the lookout for reliable, compassionate, and skilled Band 6 Midwives to join our dynamic team.

What We’re Looking For:
Current NMC registration (must be evidenced at application and interview)
A strong understanding of the Staff Bank function and a commitment to being part of this essential workforce
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
A passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care
Please note: As this is a demand-led service, hours are not guaranteed each week.

Important Information:
All successful applicants must complete an online mandatory induction programme
These are non-permanent roles and successful candidates will be issued a Contract for Services
