The Ocean Pavilion serves as the central hub for COP conference delegates and partner organizations to exchange ideas on addressing the climate crisis by leveraging ocean science and solutions. Throughout the two-week conference, the pavilion hosts scheduled programming, meetings, and in-depth discussions that elaborate on a set of conference themes related to the ocean.

The position will attend COP30 to manage on-site event logistics, including staffing the Ocean Pavilion, coordinating programming and event logistics, overseeing UC San Diego and partner staffing, and other logistical details, as necessary.

The hours will fluctuate as you prepare for the event. As the event gets closer, the hours will be expected to increase, then scale back down following the conclusion of the event.
