Description
Laminex New Zealand forms part of the Light Building Products division of Fletcher Building Products Ltd, and we are a trusted business partner for decorative surfaces and panel products, offering expert knowledge and exceptional value to our customers. With market-leading brands in our portfolio including Strandfloor, Formica, Seratone, Melteca, Lakepine MDF, and Caesarstone, Laminex NZ offers residential and commercial solutions for all interior spaces, from benchtops and cabinetry, through to structural flooring, wall lining, and commercial joinery.
The Role: This is an opportunity for you to make your mark in a diverse role with a unique mix of financial and management accounting coupled with commercial partnering and advice for business improvement and growth initiatives. Reporting to the Commercial Manager and based at either Auckland head office in Penrose or our Taupo manufacturing plant, you will own the all financial aspects and compliance of our Taupo and Hamilton plants including the lead for financial performance, any CAPEX, new product development costing, and business initiatives and growth modelling. Additionally, you will oversee three direct reports and have a rare opportunity to lead the formation of new financial processes for our new manufacturing facility in Taupo, with a focus on automation and growth.
You will provide the business with analysis, insights, and transparent reporting to enable performance to be measured, monitored, and used as a basis for key decision-making. This includes the coordination, consolidation, and finalisation of information from the Manufacturing components of the business and manage the completion of budgets, forecasts, and reporting packs.
You will be detailed-oriented but have the ability to step back, see the bigger picture, and tell the story behind the numbers to numerous stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to lead process improvement, delivering improved financial information and support the business growth, including management of the provision of BI information (COGNOS / TM1 / Qlikview/PowerBI).
About You: You will have a proven track record in manufacturing financial and management accounting and business partnering, supported by a degree in either Commerce or Accounting and have a CA ANZ recognized Chartered Accountant qualification. Known for your ability to influence and communicate, you will be a highly motivated self-starter, have a strong commercial and financial background, and a proven track record in delivering results.
