What we are Looking for:-
The Accounting Operations Manager (Hiring) plays a pivotal role in leading the strategic hiring initiatives and ensuring efficient accounting operations within Gallagher Mohan. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end hiring process, collaborating closely with HR and department heads, and maintaining robust accounting procedures to support organizational growth and client needs. We are specifically seeking a seasoned accounting veteran with deep experience in general ledger (GL) accounting and accounting systems, capable of applying their knowledge to the operational side of a fast-growing professional services firm.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Hiring Leadership:
• Lead the organization's mission to scale hiring efforts efficiently, in line with the company's diamond formation and bench strategies.
• Continuously identify and attract top talent, conducting interviews and assessments as needed to build a strong talent pipeline.
• Ensure timely staffing to support client growth and new business initiatives.
• Accounting Operations Management:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to internal accounting policies and procedures.
• Leverage deep experience in GL accounting and accounting systems to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with Human Resources to align hiring strategies with organizational goals and ensure a seamless recruitment process.
• Collaborate with Cluster Heads/Managers to coordinate interview processes, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Act as a liaison between HR, leadership, and department heads to address any challenges or gaps in cooperation during the hiring process.
• Innovation and System Development:
• Drive continuous improvement of hiring systems and infrastructure to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
• Develop and implement cutting-edge practices in hiring and accounting operations that support Gallagher Mohan's strategic objectives.
• Leadership and Team Development:
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to achieve departmental goals.
• Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or relevant certification preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting operations and talent acquisition, with a proven track record in managing high-volume recruitment and building strong accounting teams.
• Strong understanding of GL accounting principles and practices, with experience in real estate accounting as a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with charisma and energy to inspire and lead teams through change and growth.
• Work Environment:
• EST/IST working hours, reporting to US Management.
