Job Summary We are looking for a Part-Time Accountant with a strong working knowledge of Tally ERP (or Tally Prime) to assist with regular accounting tasks—primarily focused on stock entries and basic inventory-related transactions. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant or accounting student looking for flexible work hours. You will be required to work from the office once a week, with occasional remote support if needed.Key Responsibilities Enter and update stock-related transactions in Tally ERP/Prime, including: Purchase and sales entries Stock adjustment entries Inventory transfers between locations Goods receipt notes and delivery challans Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory. Reconcile stock quantities and assist with inventory audits if required. Ensure correct item codes, units of measurement, GST classifications, and ledgers. Coordinate with the store or warehouse team to match physical stock with Tally records. Generate basic reports such as stock summaries, inventory valuation, and movement reports. Maintain accounting accuracy and consistency in all entries. Backup and secure accounting data after each visit.Skills: Proficient in Tally software for stock and basic accounts management. Basic understanding of inventory control, purchase/sales accounting, and GST. Good attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a short time frame. Other Requirements: Must be able to visit the office once a week on a mutually agreed day. Laptop with Tally installed (optional but preferred).
