This Partnership Accountant will involve managing financial operations related to partner remuneration, tax, and reporting. Located in London, this position requires a qualified accountant with extensive experience in Partnership / Partner Finance accounting, ideally with legal or large corporate industry experience.

Description
• Deliver consistent global Partner Finance service with improved systems and tech
• Supervise and mentor the Tax & Partner Finance Assistant
• Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture
• Oversee partner payments: monthly/quarterly drawings, distributions, incentive schemes
• Manage partner capital: annual calls, promotions, reconciliations, entitlements
• Provide cashflow statements and management data (e.g. forecasts)
• Handle monthly reconciliations: drawings, accounts, debtors, allowances, FX, banking
• Maintain accurate Workday records and support partner surveys and data requests
• Manage recharges (insurance, gym, LLP fund) and ad-hoc payments (e.g. sabbaticals)
• Administer FX elections and respond to stakeholder queries
• Prepare year-end partner statements, loan notes, tax data, and audit materials
• Improve internal processes and controls across Partner Finance
• Collaborate with Business Finance teams on accounting, tax, FX, and remuneration
• Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and well-communicated to stakeholders
Profile
A successful Partnership Accountant should have:
• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or tax qualification
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Experience in managing partner finances or similar financial operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to work.
