Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, with a strong background in ADP and SAP Payroll systems
Experience interfacing with Costpoint and knowledge of GovCon payroll requirements
In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including tax compliance and reporting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Responsibilities

Our cybersecurity client based in Reston, Virginia is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced interim Payroll Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ADP and SAP Payroll systems, interfacing with Costpoint, and a solid background in Government Contracting payroll processing.
Location: This position is hybrid 3 days a week in office in Reston, VA.
Responsibilities:
• Process and administer payroll for employees, including salary, hourly, and contract staff, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Utilize ADP and SAP Payroll systems to manage payroll functions, including data entry, processing, and reporting.
• Interface with Costpoint to ensure seamless integration and accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll-related legislation and regulations, including those specific to GovCon.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy.
