Job description, work day and responsibilities
Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager, the Pharmacist Degree Senior is committed to the integration of knowledge and skill in the provision of quality client-focused pharmacy services. The incumbent is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and leading clinical pharmacy activities and services that support the safe, effective and appropriate use of pharmacotherapy. This includes home care and community based services. The incumbent will be responsible for leadership of the team, with activities including but not limited to supervision, co-ordination and application of pharmacist based clinical and operational activities. The incumbent will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of patient centered care through the development and application of practice standards within their areas of focus. The incumbent will have specific responsibilities related to their team considering patient needs, operational needs, quality improvement and clinical knowledge. The incumbent will coordinate/participate in education of pharmacy students, pharmacy technician students and pharmacy staff

Experience
Two years hospital pharmacy experience
Education
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSP)Entry-level Degree
Licenses
Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
CPRB certification from an accredited Pharmacy Residency Prgram is an asset
Memberships
Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS)
Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP)
Other Education and Training
Entry level PharmD is acceptable
