What your day-to-day will look like:
You will be part of a wider accounting and governance team providing accounting support to the businesses. This role requires fostering relationships with business contacts to communicate and collaborate effectively. You will be part of the business interface and will play a role in ensuring proper accounting. You will be part of a team driving the implementation of new digital tools for more efficient interpretation and communication of financial data. You’ll assist with the completion of timely month-end reporting in line with internal timetables and be responsible for making certain month-end journal postings and disclosure submissions. You’ll also assist in preparing year-end financial statements for audit requirements.
To thrive in this role, you have:
Minimum 2- 5 years experience in accounting and/or audit.
General understanding and experience of accounting concepts, guidance and audit processes.
Basic understanding of percentage of completion (POC) accounting (construction project accounting).
Degree from an accredited college/university in Finance or Accounting or equivalent.
Experience working in a continuously changing environment (preferred)
Intercultural sensitivity, ownership approach, and good communication skills.
Passion and desire to support the finance and accounting staff.
Good executive presence, including written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills to help analyse, explain, and document accounting topics.
Good critical thinking skills with the capability to break down problems to determine root cause issues and troubleshoot, and help in developing systemic solutions.
Good grasp of end-to-end reporting processes and governance requirements.
Focus on documenting, following processes, and suggesting improvements.

This career is based in Alpharetta, GA. We offer a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees, including PTO, 401k match, and tuition reimbursement. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
