Job description, work day and responsibilities

The School Administrators’ responsibilities include handling all allocated tasks, answering questions and queries, understanding the school’s/management policies, assisting with the recruitment of new staff members, and communicating with parents, teachers, and students as required. One should be able to take charge of the entire system responsibly and provide the necessary supervision. Outstanding candidates have the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities and don’t lose their nerve under pressure.

Position – School Principal

Job Responsibilities:

1. Execution and implementation of vision and mission of the school by implementing action oriented viable strategies, policies and programmes for the development of the School, and optimum utilization of available resources

2. Management, maintenance, and control of all the academic, financial, HR and administrative operations

3. Development of academic environment, promotion of harmonious work relationships within the school and with all the external agencies and regulatory bodies

4. Realization of academic excellence through promotion of teaching-learning practices, development of innovative student-oriented pedagogies and their smooth implementation

5. Development of new academic programs keeping in view the evolving needs of students & society

6. Development and growth of academic and operational excellence, ensuring adequate facilities, and promotion of human resource by setting up Centre for Excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

The following are the essential minimum qualifications:

1. Post Graduate (Preferably from Science) with [website] / [website]

2. Desirable- PhD in relevant subject

3. Academic Experience of More than 8 Years with experience as Principal for a minimum of 3 years or Vice-Principal for a minimum of 5 Years

4. Good Knowledge of CBSC Norms

5. Preference will be given to the Candidates with Good IT skills.

6. Good knowledge of RTE system

Desired skill: 1. Excellent Communication & IT Skills

2. To setup efficient systems and procedures

3. The promotion of institutional reputation through quality education, extra-curricular activities, community services and harmonious community and institution relationship

4. Awareness About New Education Policy
