Job Description
Our Team and What We'll Accomplish Together
TELUS Health supports the total health and wellbeing of over 70 million lives worldwide through our clinical expertise, global presence, and digital wellbeing platform - delivered through our Integrated Health Solutions. We empower healthier, happier, and more productive employees by combining our award-winning Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with proactive wellness solutions in a digital ecosystem that helps people prevent and manage challenges across family, health, life, money, and work.
Lead broker and referral channel growth for TELUS Health's flagship EAP - shape your own strategy, build your own partnerships, own the results across NSW and work fully remote from wherever suits your lifestyle.
About The Role:
As we scale our presence across New South Wales, we're seeking a commercially sharp sales leader to own broker and referral channel growth. You'll drive revenue through insurance partnerships and intermediary relationships, executing a targeted channel strategy in one of Australia's most competitive corporate wellness markets.
This role bridges our broker partners and corporate clients - working with Account Management, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to deliver partner enablement, aligned execution, and measurable channel growth.
Role & Responsibilities:
Broker & Referral Channel Development: Identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships with insurance brokers, intermediaries, and referral partners to drive new business opportunities for TELUS Health's corporate wellbeing solutions.
Partner Enablement: Equip broker and referral partners with the tools, knowledge, and collateral needed to confidently position and promote TELUS Health's EAP and broader wellbeing offerings to their corporate clients.
Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent quota target coverage, tracking all activity and opportunities through Salesforce CRM.
Revenue Target Achievement: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual financial targets, with annual quotas of $1M+ across broker-referred and direct B2B channels.
End to End Sales Ownership: Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification and partner engagement through to proposal, negotiation, and close — including complex, multi-stakeholder deals
Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives, HR leaders, and key decision-makers within target organisations, as well as senior contacts across the insurance and brokerage community.
Market Representation: Enthusiastically represent TELUS Health at industry events, broker forums, networking activities, and business presentations — passionately articulating our value proposition and ROI model.
Strategic Growth: Identify market opportunities within the NSW corporate landscape, develop sector penetration strategies, and contribute to broader APAC business planning initiatives.
Market Intelligence: Provide ongoing feedback on market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging client needs to inform product development, marketing, and service enhancement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Account Management, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams to ensure seamless partner and client experiences and aligned go-to-market execution.
Skills & Experience Required:
5+ years selling with consistent achievement of $1M+ annual channel quotas, preferably in employee benefits, HR consulting, or insurance sectors, some of this experience selling through broker/consultant channels
Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or customer-focused discipline (desirable)
Proven track record in B2B channel sales with experience managing multiple broker relationships, complex procurement processes, and multi-stakeholder decision-making, preferably in government, HR consulting, or employee benefits sectors
Market knowledge and established relationships within the broker and benefits consultant community with proven ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with intermediaries
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in fast-paced, channel-driven environments with strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple broker relationships
Ability to work effectively within matrixed, performance-based organisations while delivering results through indirect channels
High degree of professionalism, organisational intelligence, and professional maturity with innovative, entrepreneurial approach and strong competitive drive to succeed in the broker channel
