Clerk Grade 11/12 - The package includes a base salary starting at $149,739 - $173,174 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the role
Working in a small team you will drive development and assurance of whole of government technology & architecture standards ensuring continued delivery of value and meaningful outcomes.
The architecture team’s objective is to increase reuse, reduce technology legacy and drive greater adoption and implementation of the best technology and architecture in projects & products that exist across all departments of Government. As a central whole of government function, we also drive outcomes that extend beyond individual agencies such as seamless customer experience, cross agency efficiencies and industry productivity.
The principal enterprise architect role is critical for us achieving our objectives. To be successful in this role you need to have strong consulting skills, be motivated by continuous new challenges & problems to solve, be technically savvy, and have the ability to communicate with technical & non-technical people.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Be a thought leader in how to use current and emerging digital technologies and architectures
Advise government agencies how to break down big digital programs/problems to use a start small approach
Create, implement, and measure standards related to platforms reuse, reduction of legacy technology and emerging technology
Collaborate across NSW Government with partner agencies and customers to understand strategic problems, linking to existing solutions, synthesizing and presenting actionable insights
Contribute to strategies and roadmaps that result in cross agency seamless customer experiences, increased public servant efficiencies & industry productivity.
Who we are
The Digital Strategy, Investment and Assurance Team (DSIA) works across whole of NSW Government to drive digital and ICT strategy, alignment, planning, prioritisation and investment.
The team:
Plays a pivotal role in driving digital strategy and alignment to improve customer outcomes, reduce legacy systems and drive adoption of common assets.
Administers the $2.2 billion Digital Restart Fund transforming the way government invests in Digital and ICT and driving digital change in NSW.
Delivers independent oversight of NSW Government ICT and digital projects, including Gateway reviews and periodic health checks at key points in a projects lifecycle to support identifying the right projects, delivering them on-time, on-budget and eliminating risks.
Transforms the way government works to solve problems through the Digital Design Toolkit, Design Standards and Design System, making it easier for teams to build and deliver great digital service.
