Job Description
As a Specialist in Product Operations at Mastercard, you will be part of the Merchant Solutions Product Excellence team dedicated to driving strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, innovation, and growth across Merchant Solutions. Your role will involve actively participating in the governance of products and product development lifecycle (PDLC), generating data-oriented insights, and supporting the Merchant Cloud offering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and assist in executing the Merchant Cloud strategy through product operations deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine data requirements and oversee PDLC governance activities.
- Manage internal Product Catalog changes to support tracking artifacts and maintaining accurate product status information.
- Support data analysis for key questions, create and maintain product data dashboards and reports.
- Assist in operational activities such as data analysis, process coordination, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams, provide analytical and operational support, and optimize onboarding processes.
- Validate business cases and drive incremental value for the Gateway Product business.
- Represent the Program Operations and Transformation team on-site, facilitating team engagement and collaboration.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, Master's degree in business or relevant field is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Management & Data analysis, preferably in the payment gateway business.
- Strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization and analysis tools, proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data science techniques.
- Experience in managing a PDLC framework for a technology product, knowledge of Mastercard Studio framework is desired.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Financial Institution or payment gateway experience is a plus, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
