Job Description
The Graduate – Project Controlling is an entry level position within the Finance department and is responsible for assisting the Project Controlling team in the preparation of its key deliverables.

As Project Controller - Graduate, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
Creating and maintaining project work breakdown structures and performing regular reviews of actual cost against approved budget with the project manager;
Performing basic analysis on variances to planning and forecast projections;
Monitoring, updating and reporting customer milestone date variances to management;
Billing and calculation of price adjustment to the customer;
Assisting in the development and implementation of financial models and internal reporting to provide reliable and useful information; and
Supporting continuous improvements within the Finance team.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
Tertiary qualifications in Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce or related disciplines;
Commercially minded with financial and analytical skills;
Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook);
Good stakeholder management and communication (written and verbal) skills;
High level of enthusiasm to learn and take on new tasks and challenges;
Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
