Job Description

The team has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager - Construction Services to work on one of our most exciting projects on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. We are looking for people with experience in the Technology sector who have specific construction and engineering backgrounds along with great communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with our clients.

As a Project Manager in our Real Estate team, we are looking for you to be part of a high performing team, have a commercial focus and balance working across major projects.

Manage large scale projects as a key member in our project team
Developing strong working relationships and integrate with the Clients project team
Encourage a positive culture within the project team
Manage the inputs for the Clients feasibility, due diligence and planning phases
Manage the design process to achieve the client's brief and manage stakeholder expectations
Manage the construction and commissioning phases on-site and provide technical expertise required by the Clients commercial team
Manage project timelines, risks and reporting
Managing project budgets and working within the Clients financial framework and processes
Highly developed problem solving skills
Manage project safety and environmental requirements
Drive projects to successful completion

Qualifications
A recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management
Technical background in building services (electrical / mechanical), construction / services manager or a trade qualification (electrical / mechanical) with management experience
10+ years industry experience working on major projects
Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment
Experience in live operational environments / critical infrastructure
Multiple contract forms including ECI / GMP / D&C / Lump Sum
Advanced Microsoft skills are essential including MS Project
Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects
Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop a team
Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients
