Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Management Assistant. This role involves providing administrative support, managing tenant relations, and assisting with property operations to ensure smooth and efficient property management. The ideal candidate will have organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and experience with property management software. Duties
Assist with tenant communications, inquiries, and lease renewals to maintain positive relationships
Manage data entry related to property listings, tenant information, and maintenance requests using property management software
Support administrative tasks such as filing, document organization, and record keeping
Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution of issues
Help prepare lease agreements, notices, and other documentation
Maintain accurate records of rent payments, deposits, and financial transactions
Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in person to tenants and vendors
Assist with scheduling property inspections and coordinating vendor services
Support sales activities by assisting with marketing materials and property showings as needed
Skills
Proficiency in property management software is highly desirable
Office experience with familiarity in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Experience in property management or real estate is a plus
Ability to negotiate effectively with tenants, vendors, and service providers
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
Ability to multitask efficiently
This role is integral to maintaining the quality and efficiency of our property operations while providing exceptional service to tenants and clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $600.00-$1,000.00 per week
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ottawa, ON
