Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Our Customer, Products and Services team are a forward thinking and inclusive team with an ambitious agenda to transform our business and be the best bank in New Zealand. Through our Wealth and Insurance Partnerships team, we partner and deliver the wealth and insurance propositions for our customers. This team has a specialist focus on proposition development and delivery, driving out the wealth and insurance aspects of BNZ’s customer propositions.
This role can be based in Wellington or Auckland. It is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly.
We sat down with the People Leader (who you'll report to) and they told us the following about the role:
Managing team inboxes by answering queries from bankers and coaches and external partners.
Regular reporting to key stakeholders from compiling the data and adding commentary.
Product governance tasks (including updates to BNZ website, training material (Te Kete) and product collateral) and manage relevant approvals.
Assist on specialised project work and manage approvals.
Help manage remediation, risk and compliance issues.

What technical skills / skills are required for this role?
Banking, insurance or wealth industry experience
Knowledge of banking systems and environments
Experience in working with regulatory or compliance environments
Analytical skills and the ability to work with qualitative and quantitative data
What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Strong collaboration and facilitation skills working with customers and internal stakeholders
High attention to detail and accuracy
Effective time management skills that have a focus on the customer’s needs
