• Your role
- Are you a motivated self-starter with strong accounting skills and a good understanding of banking products? Do you have experience in analyzing financial information and the respective underlying control processes? We are looking for someone to join our team in this varied and interesting role which will include:
- working in F2B projects (especially in the Integration/migration stream), assessing new/existing products front-to back (finance source systems to financial-/management-/regulatory reporting)
- interacting with various stakeholders, analyze contracts and ensure correct accounting treatment
- co-ordinating between various finance teams worldwide
- consulting on and facilitating implementation of accounting issues and support on various topics in the context of the integration
- presenting results to finance senior management in regular update forums.
• Your team
- You will be part of the Finance migration/integration team, within Financial Accounting and Controlling function. We are responsible and accountable for the performance and supervision of divisionally-aligned controls and financial reporting.
- We are primary point of contact for the financial reporting of Swiss Legal entities. It is the unique chance to get involved in the integration process and to get an in depth inside in UBS business.
• Your expertise
- university degree in Accounting / Finance, ideally combined with a Swiss CPA or equivalent
- 7 to 10 years finance banking experience, including a good understanding of IFRS
- strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem solving skills
- excellent communication skills and ability to interact with staff at all levels
- knowledge of Swiss GAAP, FINMA and SNB reporting requirements would be an advantage
- hands-on mentality, pro-activity, flexibility and commitment is key
