Role Summary:
As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for insurance pitching, client acquisition, and maintaining long-term relationships with individual and corporate clients. The role requires consultative sales skills, insurance product knowledge, and a customer-centric mindset to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively pitch Life and General Insurance products to potential clients—retail and corporate.
Understand client requirements and recommend customized insurance solutions.
Generate leads through networking, referrals, digital outreach, and field visits.
Maintain regular follow-up with prospects to convert them into long-term clients.
Coordinate with the internal team for policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals.
Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain updated records of client interactions, queries, and conversions in CRM tools.
Educate clients about product features, claim processes, and value-added services.
Participate in sales reviews and strategy meetings with the Senior Vice President – Sales.
Qualifications:
MBA / BBA in Marketing
Graduates from any stream with strong interest in sales may apply
Insurance sales certification (IRDAI) & BQP certification is a plus (can be acquired post-selection)
Key Skills & Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence in presenting and pitching financial/insurance products
Basic knowledge of insurance industry (training will be provided)
Target-oriented and self-driven
Strong follow-up and customer relationship management skills
Good command over MS Office / CRM tools
