Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement
Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
Upsell complementary items and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and demonstrating phone etiquette when assisting over the phone or in person
Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts
Experience
Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math ensures smooth transactions
Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in growth opportunities within the team
Bilingual skills are highly valued to better serve diverse customer bases
Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor are essential for engaging customers effectively
Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory
