About The Role
• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant with expertise in SAP to join our dynamic team as a key member of the Accounts and Finance department.
• The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of IndAS, coupled with a proven track record of managing financial accounting, reporting, and auditing processes using SAP software in manufacturing companies.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Utilize SAP software to effectively close books of accounts accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with IndAS and organizational standards.
• Leverage SAP functionalities to prepare and present financial statements in accordance with IndAS guidelines, providing insightful analysis of monthly results to facilitate decision-making processes.
• Harness SAP capabilities to review all profit and loss, balance sheet accounts, and financial reports, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or irregularities.
• Serve as the primary liaison with both statutory and internal auditors, utilizing SAP to facilitate audit processes and promptly resolve any audit requirements or open issues.
• Engage in proactive communication with auditors to ensure timely completion of audit procedures and compliance with regulatory standards, leveraging SAP functionalities as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, optimize resource allocation, and enhance overall efficiency, leveraging SAP expertise to drive process improvements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment while imparting SAP knowledge and expertise.
Qualifications and Skills:.
• Chartered Accountant qualification with 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles, coupled with demonstrated expertise in SAP.
• Thorough understanding and practical application of IndAS guidelines and principles, with proficiency in utilizing SAP software for financial accounting and reporting.
• Previous experience working in manufacturing companies and collaborating with Big 4 auditors is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights using SAP functionalities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders while leveraging SAP for communication and collaboration.
