Employment Status: Permanent, Full-time
Days & Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, totalling 38 hours per week
Competitive Salary: Band 3 - $67,200.82 p.a. + 11.5% superannuation
Location: Working across our offices in Sandringham and Carnegie and some occasional flexibility to work from home

About the Role:

Assist Rostering Officers to:

Maintain rosters for support workers and respond to client and support workers telephone and routine enquiries.
Provide an excellent customer experience through phone and face to face contact with support workers, clients, families, agencies and internal staff.
You will be responsible for:

Assisting rostering officers to ensure support workers rosters accurately reflect service requests.
Contacting clients regarding their rostered bookings, prior to actual service provision.
Inputting accurate service notes and information into Council's client management system in a timely way.
Communicating with support workers to provide routine day to day rostering changes and support.
Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:

Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Understanding of the needs of older people, people with disabilities and their carers.
Ability to backfill rostering officers during planned and unplanned leave.
Experience working in aged care in a community setting would be well regarded.
Mandatory pre-employment requirements:

Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check.
