JOB DESCRIPTION:
1) Planning and execution of marketing strategies for specialty lines, property insurance, liability insurance, employee benefits insurance programmes, etc. For the best corporate insurance programme solutions, this role also requires an understanding of the client's sector.
2) Business intelligence: Be the market's eyes and ears and stay up to date on developments in the insurance sector.
3) Create new initiatives to boost sales and top-of-mind recognition among prospective corporate clients.
4) Determine marketing prospects by examining the client's needs, defining the market, the share of the competition, and the flaws and strengths of the competition; projecting future sales; and determining the intended market share.
5) Creating a database of prospective clients. Maintaining constant touch with them by identifying key stakeholders and decision-makers.
6) Maintain relationships with key accounts by paying them visits on occasion, learning about their needs, and looking out for new prospects.
7) Update your expertise by taking part in IRDA-mandated insurance programmes, reading scholarly works, establishing personal networks, joining professional associations, and attending training sessions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Recognising the business and risk exposures of the prospective client.
2) Reviewing the Insurance Programme and finding any deficiencies.
3) Helping the potential customer or client complete thorough risk questionnaires and explaining coverage terms to them.
4) Submitting the proposal form to insurance providers for quotes.
5) Comparing the terms contained in the price quotes obtained from various insurance providers.
6) Negotiating the terms and conditions that have been provided by the insurers to satisfy the client's needs.
7) Providing the prospect or client with a cover recommendation.
8) Cross-checking the terms and conditions of the policy.
+) Servicing the Team on the account to ensure timely endorsement issuance, report issuance, and advocating on behalf of the client at the time of the claim or any other requirements. You should have excellent communication skills. You should be proactive and solution-oriented and be ambitious to accelerate your career growth.
Skill Sets Required :
1) Self-motivated, self-directed, mature, ambitious, intelligent, articulate and knowledgeable.
2) The candidates should have completed the IRDA-mandated broker's training and have passed the examination. (In case not completed, he/she will be completing the same in their probation period)
3) Ability to do consultative and concept selling
4) Fluency in English communication skills, both written and oral, is a must.
5) Ability to study and analyze an insurance contract, summarize coverage, and advise its suitability to a client
6) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications with ease

Salary: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
